Fork tines extend 9" deep, perfect for raised beds, with a single handle to easily loosen compacted soil. I haven’t had a lot of opportunity to use it yet. (Minnesota) but I was able to start aerating my rocky yard and this tool is up for the challenge! So far worth every penny!
Super happy with my purchase. I was nervous it may be too small for all my raised beds. I have 6 and they're 4X8 feet. It took no time to loosen the heavy, compacted clay soil with this broadfork. I'm very happy with my purchase!
It’s a great option for shorter folks, whereas the regular broad forks are better for taller people.
